Here we have selected the agtech and food chain events which specifically focus on making these sectors sustainable and which can bring you in touch with relevant investors. Originally launched in London 6 years ago, this Agri-Tech Summit is considered to be one of the largest summits for agribusiness in the world. The event unites startups, agri-tech companies, entrepreneurs, and investors — over 1,000 companies of different sizes in total. It is a part of the World Agri-Tech Innovation Serie and below you will see “Indoor AgTech Innovation Summit in New York” from the same series. You might be interested in World Agri-Tech Innovation in London as well which is smaller but can connect you with European audiences and partners.

Future Food-Tech
Date: March 21-22, 2019 Location: San Francisco, the USA
The Summit is acclaimed as the most international gathering of food business leaders, VC investors and food-tech innovators to transform innovation and investment in food.
There will be a number of sessions with participation of investors. Date: April 4-5, 2019 Location: Prague, Czech Republic
The conference organizer qualifies the event as a meeting place for manufacturers, researchers, academics, and decision-makers, including heads of investments. From our point of view, the event is worth a visit for its emphasis on sustainability. The conference will cover water management, agriculture resource management, and precision farming.

Food Innovation Summit
Date: May 6-9, 2019 Location: Milano, Italy
The Global Food Innovation Summit is an open and effective platform for rethinking the food chain for the changing world. The Summit will touch upon numerous critical topics (including circular business models, best practices for reducing plastic waste and upcycling) in order to provide insights and solutions for making the global food chain more sustainable.

GreenTech Amsterdam
Date: June 11-13, 2019 Location: Amsterdam, the Netherlands
Dedicated in the first place to horticulture, the GreenTech event will let you gain an overview of cutting-edge sustainable solutions in this the industry. You can attend both a summit with themes centered around sustainable production and an extensive exhibition of new product introductions from industry innovators.

AgriFood Innovation Event
Date: June 26-27, 2019 Location: Venlo, The Netherlands
A two-day event that unites smart agriculture and sustainable food industries due to an extremely varied program:

World Agri-Tech Innovation Summit
Date: October 15-16, 2019 Location: London, the UK
The European version of the World Agri-Tech Innovation Summit will take place in October, so no detailed information is available yet. Nevertheless, last year the event had three breakout sessions, pre-arranged 1-on-1 meetings with potential partners or investors, and TechHub for early-stage companies. Therefore in 2019 it is very likely to be not less valuable and enable to meet both business partners and VC investors.

Future Food-Tech Summit
Date: October 17-18, 2019 Location: London, the UK
International event focused on innovations in the food sector, including personalised nutrition, food ingredient innovation, and reduction of food waste. For example, the organizers propose to consider how Artificial Intelligence will predict performance of new ingredients and to discuss whether consumer demand for natural, sustainable foods is in conflict with the new, innovative foods being produced from cutting-edge companies and new breeding techniques. In a special session investors will be summoned to debate on the role of VCs in shaping a scalable and sustainable food-tech system globally.
The event will take place in London and San Francisco, so you may choose between Europe and the US.
