Delivering fabrication methods that are shorter, safer, cheaper and more sustainable than existing solutions, Beridi’s TRIWIND technology is revolutionizing the viability of floating offshore wind power.

Challenge

As a growing company with a ground-breaking solution to increase the uptake of renewable wind power, Beridi was eager to raise its brand awareness, simplify its messaging and increase engagement across its target audiences.

How Orange Bird Helped

Orange Bird worked with Beridi to identify its baseline marketing performance, understand its commercial objectives, establish its highest priority marketing targets and develop a comprehensive marketing strategy. Here’s the steps we took:

Foundational Workshop

A dedicated foundational workshop with in-house stakeholders gave us the opportunity to learn about the complexities of Beridi’s technology, understand its UVPs and establish its target audiences. With this preliminary information, we were able to segment and prioritize target audiences, develop buyer personas and establish the roles they play in tech procurement, offshore developments and investment.

Competitive Analysis

Beridi’s unique technology is at the forefront of a nascent sector (concrete-based offshore wind floating platforms), but it has competitors from differing segments (such as steel-based solutions). It was important for us to identify and analyse competitors to differentiate Beridi’s offering and contextualise its UVPs.

Positioning

Orange Bird helped Beridi to strengthen its positioning by assessing its operations and identifying services and expertise which were underrepresented in the company’s branding and messaging. Working with internal stakeholders to understand the forecasted growth and development of the brand, we refined Beridi’s positioning in the offshore engineering sector and reinforced its specialism as an offshore wind tech developer.

Website Redesign, Development and Maintenance

Creating a new website with enhanced visuals, clear messaging and an improved user experience (UX) was a top priority for Beridi. Our in-house copywriters and graphic design team got to work creating webpages that accurately reflect Beridi’s brand while engaging its core target audiences.

Orange Bird’s web development team also worked with Beridi to review its existing site infrastructure, establish its requirements and recommend optimal web dev modifications to improve website performance, simplify web management and create a more intuitive back-end user interface (UI).

With a strategic approach, we ensured Beridi’s new website delivered a clear user journey, provided users with genuine value and streamlined the transition from awareness to engagement.

Organic Social Media Marketing

Although Beridi was already active on LinkedIn, it wanted to enhance its performance, increase its reach and foster more meaningful engagement. We began by auditing Beridi’s existing performance and identifying its baseline. From there, we analysed existing post content and identified gaps in Beridi’s content strategy.

We created a dedicated social media calendar, incorporating different post formats and themes, ensuring all of Beridi’s audience segments were targeted with authentic, engaging and attention-grabbing content.

A combination of company news, industry developments, technological know-how and employer branding formed the basis of Beridi’s new organic social strategy. Our in-house copywriters drafted bespoke content, championing Beridi’s brand personality, conveying distinct messaging and delivering unique insights. Orange Bird’s graphic design team worked simultaneously to generate images, slides and videos that reflect Beridi’s latest visual identity, strengthen its messaging and engage its audiences.
